Like the old saying goes "Talk is cheap , Shut up and Dance!" Now that we have told you all about us, your probably wondering what our students & parents think. So here it is... let the dance begin:
Present Students:
Jill C., (Milford CT) - “My daughter has been dancing at Carol Farrell since she was three years old; she is now in high school. She loves the studio and has learned so much over the years. She has grown up performing with Carol Farrell, we are truly part of their family!”
Gretchen D., (Milford, CT) – “My daughter started dancing with the Carols when she was 4. She's now 13 and loves taking classes as much today as she did when she first started, so much so, she even attends a middle school in which she takes dance twice a week. She has learned so much about not only dance, but performing as well. This studio is not just a place to come and take lessons, the instructors, students and their families are like family to us!"
Nicole P., (Milford, CT) - “My daughters have been dancing at Carol Farrell for almost 10 years, since they were 3 years old. They have developed lasting friendships with the other girls, and a confidence in themselves that elementary school could not have created on its' own. The teachers are supportive and celebrate each milestone with the girls, and the dance school family."
Vickey G., (Milford, CT) – “So happy that my granddaughters are dancing at "Carol Farrell" dance studio. They are great teachers and are like a second family to all the kids there. My granddaughters Fallon and Kendal love going to dance class and are becoming such good dancers. Both girls can't decide which class they like the best because they like them all. I would recommend any girl or boy to take dance lessons at "Carol Farrell" dance studio. I did and loved it!!!”
Joyce D., (Milford, CT) – “Years ago my now grown daughters danced with Carol Farrell Dance - more recently as a senior citizen I have danced with the adult Jazz class - Great exercise and lots of fun and lots of interesting people who also love to dance. I have a granddaughter who has been dancing since age 4 she is now 15 - the dancing, performing and being a part of the Carol Farrell family has helped her and all the girls become not only talented dancers but confident and poised young women -The choreography, music and talent of all the people involved always make for a wonderful show.”
Mindy A., (Orange, CT) – “I love dancing at Carol Farrell because of the variety of dance styles to learn. Every class offers a great workout and is fun at the same time! I've danced here over 20 years and can't wait to dance for the next 20 years!”
Katie M. (Trumbull, CT) – “Proud to be a Carol Farrell dancer for 30+ years! The confidence, dedication, and friendships I have gained over the years from dancing have proven to be priceless. Easily one of the most rewarding experiences I carry with me daily. I began as a student of The Carol Farrell School of Dancing and now I'm lucky to be part of the Carol Farrell dancing family.”
Alumni Students
Pat S. (Orange, CT)- My daughter danced with the Carols from the time she was in 6th or 7th grade through graduation at high school and she loved it! What I love about it is that they really get the kids dancing a lot!! All the kids are in many dance numbers; they don’t waste costumes but use them for multiple numbers, and in multiple performances. The kids learn a lot of dance steps and my daughter has even developed in her own ability to choreograph because of the number of steps and styles she learned there! The Carols create a warm and inclusive environment for all young dancers to grow in! And their adult classes are fun too!
Meg W., (Ohio) - “I grew up a Carol Farrell dancer. During that time not only did I have a great time dancing, I made lifelong friends! I went back to dance in the 25th Anniversary show and still had dance in me! I would still be a Carol Farrell dancer today had I not moved to Ohio. “
Gloria C., (Verona, NJ) - "My passion for dance started at the Carol Farrell School of Dancing way back in 1969. I learned all of the foundational techniques to begin my lifelong pursuit in dance and theater and eventually became a professional singer/dancer. My roots began at this dance studio and I highly recommend their talents and expertise!"
Jodi M., (Milford, CT) – “I danced at CF from the ages of 7 -14 (1982-1989). I truly enjoyed it! They taught me the love of dance and how I fell in love! I still have my first pair of toe shoes that I earned at the tender age of 9. I was so proud and was a pretty good dancer. I have very fond memories, dancing with Carol and Miss Carol. Memories that include Christmas (the most wonderful time of the year) and dance weekend. I spent 3 days a week of my childhood with them and the bonds and friendships I made are dear to me to this day. I was part of a family there and my talent was nurtured. I will always hold the Farrell's very near and dear to my heart. The times I've shared with them will last my lifetime. I was also blessed to have danced with Mr. Farrell and will never forget the sweet, happy, funny soul that he was.”
Dawn L., (CT) – “I danced at Carol Farrell from age 7 to 16. I absolutely loved it! I fell in love with dance and music! I have wonderful memories of my first pair of toe shoes and many dance weekends! My first Broadway show was with the Farrell's! The great times I had at dance school will last a life time! I hope to take an adult class soon!”
Laura G., (West Haven, CT) – “I adore having been a Carol Farrell dancer!! The dancing, poise, and confidence I learned are such an integral part of so many of my lifetime achievements!! Thanks for everything!!!”
Sharon P., (Milford, CT) – “I have many wonderful memories of learning and dancing with Carol Farrell. Being on stage each June was so exciting and the dance conventions in NYC were amazing. To this day, I'll hear or think of a song I danced to many, many, many years ago and remember some of the steps. There were so many classes offered which I took (ballet, tap, jazz, baton twirling, ballroom dancing) and I remember my first pair of "silver" double tap shoes. The memories put a smile on my face. To this day, I love watching movies with any kind of dancing and am thankful that I had the experience given to me.”
Cheryl M., (Milford, CT) - "Loved the years my girls spent as Carol Farrell Dancers!! I believe that dancing, and the time spent with Miss Carol helped to give them confidence growing up. Many good memories!!”
Kelly S., (Pasadena, CA) – “Some of my best memories growing up were dancing at the Carol Farrell School of Dance. Every week, I looked forward to Saturday because I knew on Saturday, I got to dance!
